Set my alarm for 5:20am and that came early. Warmed up and then drove to what I thought was the flattest road I could remember running on in Abbeville that was at least 1k long. Not even close. Super dark out so ran my first two reps on a busy highway instead of on a sketch back road and that wasn’t a good idea. Could have done 10 reps but with the race over the weekend, an early alarm this morning and 4 races over the next 4 weeks for the trials of miles cross country racing series I’m doing, 9 was good for me. Easy the cool down.
Paces for each 1k were: 5:10, 5:15, 5:10, 5:07, 5:10, 5:15, 5:08, 5:09, 5:14. Pretty pleased with this.
