Notes
After a long run yesterday and expecting snow during the race, it turned out that the snow never arrived, but I was pretty worn down knowing on this course, it would be quite the challenge. I made sure not to go out fast and was placed well back by the first mile. By the time I got to the hill at mile 3, I started gaining on people and seemed to manage the hill pretty well. Ran a conservative pace the rest of the way. Battled back and forth with Jim Garcia but managed to distance myself on the last hill. As I got to the school, Norm Larson was ahead of me. I sprinted by him but felt my legs going, he managed to pass me back at the end.
Got 4th in the age group and all in all, not too disappointed with the performance.
