Notes: Shopped yesterday and chose the cheaper Saucony over the slightly higher Asics. While shopping I thought I would just get the same model as my current Mizuno's. The problem is that the new model did not feel as good as the Saucony and Asics. Ran 2.25 miles on the treadmill mill and so far not so good. Blister on the right achilles and pian in my right knee. Not sure if that is just an ache/pain or if it's shoe related. Shoe looks good and is fairly light (under 12 oz. I'm sure). My foot feels great on the foot bed and the upper wraps my foot snugly. The ride is not as soft as I like. Fairly hard heel strike as compared to my Mizuno Wave 4. I'm bummed out as I really wanted this shoe to work out. I think I'll try it tomorrow and see what happens. OK...gave it a second try. Another 2.25 miles or so. No shoe created pains, I don't think...even forgot about the bandaged blister. I just don't like the hard hitting heel to toe transition. Too bad as this was a bargain! I returned the shoe for the Asics...I'll report on that next.
