Goals for the day: 1. Not feeling broken at the finish, check. 2. Under 12 hrs, check. 3. Confident I will be able to finish SD 100, check. No timing/distance/pace measure in hand, I just let everyone go (there were a lot of people in front of me!) and relaxed, settled in, and ran a very comfortable race. Sometimes I surprise myself, this was one of those times.
