Nothing like a bib number and four safety pins to get the blood pumping.

You're doing it wrong. The pins are only supposed to go through the bib and the shirt. No skin.

Choosing my words carefully has never been my strength I've been known to be vague and often pointless

The luminous blue that the sky is just before the sun comes up.  The black silhouettes of trees.  Early morning birds passing overhead.

Snow with no footprints in it except mine yet.

Raindrops hanging from the brim of my hat and the kind of secret, private feeling of running in the rain.

There's only one piece of running gear that i can't live without... Ibuprofen!
