    consider this... Try enjoying the difficulty of what you are doing. Try not to focus on the future (being done) or anthing else. Become aware of everything around you. Do not dwell on the pain. If you focus on it you give it power and it increases. Another thing... mile 2 for me just sucks... when I was new to running mile 1-2 pretty much always sucked... hated it... but I always new 3 & 4 would be very nice... I learned to take it super easy in miles 1&2 and now they aren't so bad...
