My overall grade for this first time race would probably be a B+. I thought overall they did a pretty good job with the majority of the preps. The Good: Nice long sleeve technical shirts Heated tent for the after party Awesome band (Rock Star Parking) Great food from Moe's Two free beers Feel good story with Team Kainer The Bad: Course problem early in the race. The lead bicycles took a wrong turn and the "elites" added about 100 yards to their run I think the course was short by about 0.25 miles Race started 15 minutes late Only 2 water stops
