Save Cheevers, MTHRFK that's close. Damn. Future race you want to be in for?

Redgraffle. Shake it off, you'll be alright.

Heelgrad, any comments on last weekend's race before I put ink on the result?

Good luck to CodeRunner coming up this weekend as well...

I think I'm going to give it another go at the St. Michael's half in May.  I like it when the nastiest hill reaches 25 feet.

Candice .. congrats on your sub-90 .. and for your fantastic write-up on your blog. It was truly an inspirational read.

              Thank you! Smile

How do you keep your feet on the ground, when you know you were born to fly?

              break'n three

I only 1 seconded you last weekend!

                Dude- stop! haha!

                You're running Boston too, right?

                  You're good to go.

An' forward, tho' I canna see, I guess an' fear!

Running the Oakland Running Festival Half Marathon in about two hours. My training has been reasonable but I wasn't able to hit the paces necessary for 1:30:00 (like a 6-7 mile run at 6:52) so I think I'll be going out at about 7:04 pace, aiming for somewhere between 1:32 and 1:33. That in itself will be a nice PR and is likely a little fast, but I do like to push it.

Maybe there will be another half later this year.

Finished. Chip time 1:35:24, about 2:30 minute PR, 3rd place in my age group, so I'm happy (no complaining allowed when you get a PR).

I'll be looking for another HM later in the year.

Nice job on the place and the PR. Progress is progress. Well done.

Not sure when it's going to happen, though.  I don't intend to race any HMs until the latter part of 2012.

                          OK, I picked one:

CliveF -- 18AUG2012 -- Parkersburg HM (Parkersburg WV)

                          C-R

I'm in. 1:32:47 this weekend (down from 1:34:18 two weeks ago) and 12 extra lbs of blubber. Not sure which one I will take a swing but there are several I'm planning to run this year.

MTA: WTG Candice for smashing it at Tom King!

Cool, both on the list. Keep em coming...

Yep - what's your goal? Your 26.2 PR is already below my goal. Boston goal is 3:14 - I know - soft, but I don't want to blow up!
