To celebrate the 25th anniversary, the Army Ten Miler has increased to 30,000. http://www.armytenmiler.com/Upload/documents/ATM%20Increases%20Field%20to%2030,000%20Runners.pdf It's a cool event, held at the Pentagon, with the Missing Parts in Action runners, parachute teams dropping in with flags, Black Hawk helicopters flyover and the starting gun is a howitzer.
