    Why is it sideways?

            The best way to improve your form is to run. A lot.
            going by that, what is more important, running longer or running more often?

              going by that, what is more important, running longer or running more often?
              I'd say more often first, then longer, time permitting of course. All else equal, two 45 minute runs in a day are much much easier to recover from than one 90 minute run, so you'll get more quality by going more frequently. MTA: The same goes for weekly: a week that includes 6 one hour runs is much easier to maintain than 3 x 2 hour runs, for example.
