Most likely my spot is up for grabs. My MRI results will be in by Monday (I hope) but considering the pain I'm in now just from my 1.5 mile easy run the other day, it's not looking like I'm going to be racing TIR.

I may be able to go. I know I need to commit, but with that India recruiting trip on the schedule I really can't commit and leave you folks in the lurch. But that trip is not looking good, all non essential travel has been stopped. Now I just have to break this (my disappearance for the whole weekend to run) to my wife. I am running all I can, just in case I'd be able to go. I really want to,

I wish I were kidding. I got hurt on New Year's Day and here it is all these weeks later and I'm not any better. 2009 did not get off to a good start for me running-wise. Sad

Thank you. Remember, if you need any contributions to help make up for my not being there cost-wise, please let me know. I think I set myself up for failure by saying something like 2009 will be such an awesome year for running for me! I have an appointment on Friday with a specialist. I hope to have some answers and a plan for recovery sometime very soon. 50 mile months won't get me very far (or fast). Sad

I finally got the confirmation that I am not going on my trip in March. So I am avaialble if you can tolerate a slow poke like me. Let me know if you have a spot available, and I'll mail the check and book travel today. What time are folks coming into Houston, I have got 9:30 AM , 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM options (and later but would probably be too late). And return around 5:30 PM okay on Sunday? Mississippi, I hope youe knee heals up fast, Hoping to run into you when I am in Philly on Business (My work place is near Chadds Ford)
