I got an email about MIO HRM watches that don't require a chest sensor, and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them? I can't find many reviews on the 'net. Thanks!

I've seen these before. The deal is that to take your heart rate, you have to place your index and middle fingers on two sensors on the watch.

I think this would work ok for walking, but seems impractical for running -- it would be difficult and annoying to take your reading unless you were stopped, which kind of defeats the purpose of running.

Thanks! I wasn't able to find anywhere that said exactly how you took it. It does seem rather inconvenient! Very useful review, though.
