Hip Redux
+1 for Arrested Development, and a vote for Parks and Recreation.
Definitely these two.

LOTS of good suggestions on this thread! I've tried not to repeat any of the above...
On Netflix:
A Young Doctor's Notebook (weird, 20ish minutes, 4 episodes, has harry potter and don draper in a bathtub).
Nip/Tuck (actually gets good if you give it a few episodes)
Doctor Who and also Torchwood (both are cheeky english sci fi and are related to one another)
Ripper Street (just started this, seems promising)
Top Gear (this is the best. show. ever.)
Call the Midwife (my wife watches that, I couldn't get past the first episode)
The Killing (wife watches this too)
Alphas (this was ok/meh)
Prime:
Falling Skies (if you like sci-fi dramas)
HBOGO:
Generation Kill
Showtime:
True Detective
Elsewhere/I forget where:
Downton Abbey
Continuum
The Tudors
What's that show about the cloned chick called? That's good.
ETA: There's also the British House of Cards. I just added that to our streaming queue. My MIL says the lead guy is even more nefarious than Spacey was.
HTFU? Why not!
USATF Coach
Empire Tri Club CoachGatorade Endurance Team
I'm all about Documentaries and shows based on fact, so I can't help with any ideas for drama shows.
You'll catch me watching ID Channel (Investigative Discovery). Shows based on real occurrences with titles like "I (almost) got away with it", "Wives with Knives", "Who the ((bleep)) did I marry", other wholesome shows like that.
The Plan '15 → /// "Run Hard, Live Easy." ∞
The Americans is great. I can also vouch for the Wire, Spiral, Luther and OITNB.
I would add Homicide: Life on the Street, Intelligence (Canadian)
Danish shows: Rita, Borgen, The Protectors, Forbrydelsen (The Killing was based on this)
Also The Shield, Orphan Black, Dollhouse and Prisoner of War. Borgen is on Link TV. I saw Season One of Forbrydelsen on you tube. Prisoner of War is on Hulu. (Not Hulu plus so you don't have to pay) Homeland was based on this but the Israeli version is much better.
not bad for mile 25
I run with my remote. I'll never be ashamed of my list. It may be short, but it has girth.

I'm too lazy to count syllables. Is it a haiku?
Psych and Futurama
There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.
We are always running for the thrill of it
Always pushing up the hill, searching for the thrill of it
Since you're not counting, yes, it's haiku.
I've got a fever...
I highly recommend The Americans. Season 1 was excellent, and Season 2 is even better so far.
Mad Men is also Great (with a capital G). Final season (split in two like Breaking Bad was) starts in a little over a week.
On your deathbed, you won't wish that you'd spent more time at the office. But you will wish that you'd spent more time running. Because if you had, you wouldn't be on your deathbed.
Broadchurch

Another vote for The Americans...and Justified.

+1 for Psych. It's not mind teeth, though. It's more I really, really need to laugh.
My blog is JT Running DC. It's awesome. Guide to Washington DC Area Running Routes. Guide to the New York City Marathon. Guide to the Boston Marathon. Guide to Running Gear. Guide to Running Clothes.
Break on through
These aren't new, but if you haven't seen them...
The Venture Bros. - funny look at heroes and villains
Battlestar Galactica - thoughtful science fiction
"Not to touch the Earth, not to see the Sun, nothing left to do but run, run, run..."
Thanks for all these suggestions, you exceeded my expectations by an ultra.
Off to Netflix to see what's what.

Disappeared is good.
Slow and Steady
