Forums >Cross Training>what type of athlete are you?
Runner or couch potato? AKA a mildly interesting NY Times article.
Call me Ray (not Ishmael)
rather be sprinting
Eh, I'm lucky enough to walk 3-5 miles per day for work on top of running, so I'm not a couch potato; I also lift weights seriously and train for short distance races, so I don't consider myself exactly a recreational runner. I've been on a competitive team for a few years now. So IDK where I fit. 'Misguidedly competitive yet only mildly talented wannabe runner'? 'All around fitness person'?
PRs: 5k 19:25, mile 5:38, HM 1:30:56
Lifting PRs: bench press 125lb, back squat 205 lb, deadlift 245lb
Ostrich runner
Depending on the activity, I'm one or another animal specifically evolved to not be subject to the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
