running log toolbar (Read 2674 times)

One of the things I disliked about the running log is that the "New Run" button is not too visible. It's not intuitive enough and some users had trouble looking for it. The problem, I believe, is that there aren't enough buttons on the toolbar to make the button more visible. So I made the "New Course" and "New Shoe" buttons a permanent part of the toolbar. I am hoping that by adding more buttons to the toolbar, the toolbar will become more visible. I'm also considering adding icons to the buttons as well, which will really make the buttons stand out. I'm not too into having too many icons. They slow down each page's download time, and sometimes distract the users. In this case, I think they will help.
