RunningAhead Log a Finalist, But Not a Winner. :( (Read 450 times)

A few months ago, I posted about the RunnersWorld version of this log being nominated for a Best of Web award from Minonline. The awards were announced on Monday, and sad to say the log didn't win for "Best Uses of Interactivity" for a magazine brand - being displaced by CondeNast's Portfolio site. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I was actually a first-round judge for this year's competition, but didn't vote on the finalists. In my opinion, the judges did a fair job of giving the awards... some were good choices, others were bad. Choosing Portfolio over the log, though, was really bad though - admittedly - I might be a bit biased. If they had judged after last weekend's race reports, RA wins hands down. Timing is everything.
