What are your goals for 2008? (Read 1948 times)

2007 was just such an amazing year. I started changing my life in July of 2006 and I went from an obese 275-pound woman to a runner, 115 pounds lighter. I even became a cross country coach!
Congratulations! This is such an awesome accomplishment. Smile

Mine are to finish my 1,001 Miles fundraiser (http://www.1001miles.com) by the end of September, 2008 (365 days after I started) and then to take a couple of weeks off before, who knows, maybe start another fundraiser. If there is anyone who has a 1,000 mile/year goal for 2008 already who would like a bit of extra motivation and would like to do it for a children's cancer charity in their area, I would be happy to provide them with a website and assistance in managing it (free of charge, of course). This fundraiser has been such an amazing experience already (and I am only 200 miles into it); I can not recommend it enough. If interested, check out the "My 1,001 Miles" page on my fundraiser website: http://www.1001miles.com

"I've been following Eddy's improvement over the last two years on this site, and it's been pretty dang solid. Sure the weekly mileage has been up and down, but over the long haul he's getting out the door and has turned himself into quite a runner. He's only now just figuring out his potential. Consistency in running is measured in years, not weeks. And over the last couple of years, Eddy's made great strides" Jeff 14 Jan 2009
