Today I became a marathoner! (Read 652 times)

    I ran my first marathon today, The Saskatchewan marathon , so I set a new PR Big grin OK so I went into it thinking that I would get somewhere between 3:30 and 4:00...and I actually got 3:28:23!! I came 28th out of 205, and even finished before some of the Half marathoners!! It was raining, windy and cold, but that just doesn't matter because today I AM MARATHON RUNNER!!
    Run like you stole it!

        An extra big congratulations for being able to train in Swift Current during the winter. As a fellow Canadian on the much milder West Coast I take my hat off to you!
        Goals: Marathon: break 3:40 Half marathon: break 1:42 10K: break 45:00 8 K: break 37:30
