I've heard good things about the Adidas adios trainers and recently saw there was a Stella McCartney version out (it isn't sold on the Adidas site anymore). Has anyone tried these for marathon training?
I wouldn't wear fashion shoes for training. Even if they are a legit shoe that just has some "designer" spec'd colors or patterns. Not worth the extra cost, because you'll be replacing them in 300-400 miles anyway, which is only about 2 months.
what "good things" have you heard about these shoes? They don't really seem to be suited for marathon training.

i had no luck with the adios since they have so little cushioning. I switched to the boston boost instead and have run two marathons in them. They are great. Most runners have trouble trying to run marathon mileage in the adios. And i didn't see it on Stella M's site,e ither, just some Ultraboost and Pureboosts.
