At the end of the day, be happy with where you are and what you've accomplished.
Why is it sideways?
Hi Kyle, You're in pain, simply by walking, and you plan to take something to mask the pain, so that you can run a marathon. Sounds like a recipe for disaster...Consider getting your foot check-ed out and skipping this one...
So my first marathon ever is on Sunday..the Philadelphia Marathon. However in the last few weeks I've been experiencing some foot pain on the top of my foot. It has finally begun to become uncomfortable when I walk. After talkin to a friend..i was told this may be the beginning of a stress fracture. I feel that after the marathon I will most likely have a stress fracture. So what do i do? Run the race and risk the stress fracture... I really do not want to skip it, since Im paid up and trained. Any suggestions?
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
