soda, normal one, I am talking about Sodium carbonate or bicarbonate.
I have seen how this works under the microscope and it's amazing.
I used it to deodorize sneakers and it works on technical fabrics too.
Also a teaspoon of sodium hydroxyde (cuastic soda), but use this carefully.
I was a great fan of this stuff during my (never finished) chemistry studies... but that's another story that involves highly exotermic reactions "Mytbuster"style, lol

I'm a fan of Atayne shirts - they cost a little more, but don't stink as bad and you can go quite a while with just a quick rinse in the shower and hang drying. That's why I went with them for the shirts I sell on my website.
