Notes
Fast start
kept w/ tim for somewhere between 1/2 and 1 mile
after he passed I chilled and just tried not to overwork on the hilly section, and was not very daring on the downhill parts. Didnt feel as lithe and agile as I could have hoped.
Once I hit pavement I turned around and saw #3 not more than 2 min behind. I drank up at the aid station and hit the much more runnable trails fairly fast. I sustained this faster pace most of the way, and took it up another notch for the last mile or so, when I started seeing people.
It's difficult to compare but I think I could go faster, suffer more pain than I am suffering. I feel sensitive to pain right now, but at my best in terms of fitness, and form.
Finished out strong, with a good bit left in the tank
