Connelsville to Rockwood. Great breakfast and interesting conversation with other guests. Lucy and her partner joined in and provided a “State of Connelsville” report.
Rode a few miles with two guys from California who flew to Pittsburgh to do this ride. Very scenic, woodsy section along the Youghiogheny River through Ohiopyle State Park. Lunch at Sisters Café in Confluence, a quaint town across the river. Visited the bike shop, just off the town green, for some trail talk.
Rockwood Trail House a very different, equally interesting B&B. Rustic interior filled with Americana collectibles. Small, comfortable room. Dinner at Rock City Café, a decent beer and burger place.
