Cool, cloudy am race in Depot Town. Met Bill for the warmup and sent him on his way for his 10K. Splits are such -
23:14; 1st Master; 7:30 average
Mile 1 - 7:23
Mile 2 - 7:32 (14:56)
Mile 3 - 7:32 (22:28)
Mile .1 - 00:47 (23:14)
Felt awesome throughout. Could have kicked it in a bit more I feel but didn't. Fundamental Laziness. Passed runners very easily throughout. Tagged onto one young lady for about .5 miles only to have her sprint ahead at the finish. Young teen leggs running confidently on wet rough pavement. Nice cooling shower throughout most of the run. Some hills but nothing too brutal. Feeling set for upcoming trail marathon.
