Notes

I did not feel great during this race. This is most likely due to the fact that I am really out of shape. I started too far back and so had to weave for the first mile. It was fairly hilly, as was the third mile. I did beat all the Boston Marathoners, but that isn't much consolation, as they were still sore from that. After the first mile I kind of took the pace easy, realizing that I was going to be pretty slow. I also forgot my watch, which sucks a little.

So I need to start running more. I should not be over 20 minutes for a 5K. So that is my goal. I'm signing up for the Boston summer series, so one 5k a week for the next 7 weeks if I make them all. Hope to get faster in that time. That race is also flat versus the hills, so I'm almost guaranteed to succeed.
