Another run with Nikki. She didn't know if she could run over a 5k and she did. So I'm really proud of her. I'm not really positive what my time is, but I think it was fairly ok. I was all alone for the whole run. It was a beautiful course. Kind of far away for me, but I think it ended up worth it. It's kind of weird that plimouth plantation is spelled with an i. It's been bothering me since I signed up.

I started to throw up with like a quarter mile to go. I think knowing that the finish was right there kind of triggered it. I was worried someone would catch up to me, but it all worked out. They did take pictures at the finish of me dry retching.

Anyway, I won, so that was nice, but I think I didn't go that fast. So that detail isn't as important to me. I'll input the time when I find the results. I wonder if I won anything. I stuck around to see my sister and her friends finish, which was an hour and a half, but I wasn't willing to wait any longer. It was for charity, so I'm pretty sure it would have just been a trophy, which I really don't want. They also gave medals, which I did not want. I got to cheer for an hour while waiting for my sisters and friends. It's kind of nice to cheer, I miss that from being on a team.

Posted the time. The pace isn't bad, although the results page is set at 4 miles, so that throws off the paces. Anyway, results below. The next closest person was 30 seconds behind, so even with the heaving I was in a good position. I would assume the last half mile was around 8 minute pace, because of the puking. So the pace should be right around 6 minute miles. I guess I should just upload my watch data.
