MDI half marathon. Wasn't quite as scenic as last time, because it was pretty foggy. But the weather was perfect for running. My left leg kind of hurt miles 7 to 10ish. I think from running on the left shoulder and the sloped road. Or lack of running more than 9 miles. But otherwise pretty consistent. The course is fairly hilly, so super slow miles are most likely related to that.
I was going for just comfortable pace. I was more sore than expected after the run, but I felt pretty good while running with this pace. Probably need new shoes, so that is my next step. Forgot to stop my watch at the end. Gun time was 1:36:40 which puts me at 7:20 pace. Also because I turned 35 on Friday was in a different division and came in 4th. So maybe I should have gone slightly faster.
