UPDATED with exact time. Watch results to follow.

Not the exact time, results not posted yet and my watch went a bit screwy. I think it died. I'll upload the data once I get around to it, but I don't know how far it got. I'm going to buy a cheap watch and start using that. The GPS is nice sometimes, but I seldom even upload the data, so kind of pointless. UPDATE, watch cut out at 26.02 miles and a time of 2:59:40. I charged it the night before, so I don't know what happened. I've gone a whole week before without charging, which is 40+ miles.

As for the race, it was nice. Ran with Josh for 20 miles, talking pretty much the whole way. Then he took off, but I was able to keep the pace. Passing the half marathoners helped. I passed Sully, which was cool because I didn't know he was running it. Pretty sure both Josh and I got awards. So that will be nice. The results were screwed up somehow so they had to be put in manually.

I ran pretty even. I think we went through the half around 129. It was pretty hilly at the end, with two large hills, but I knew it was coming because it was two laps, so we already had done it once. I felt pretty good until the last couple hills. Then there is a large downhill, so I coasted it in. I just wanted to qualify, so I definitely did that. Josh also did, which I was especially happy about. I think he was worried about not qualifying, so I told him he would definitely be able to, because I believed it. But everyone has bad races, and I was worried he might. Luckily he nailed it, got something like 2:58.

Got two free beers after. I forgot my ID, so I didn't think it would be possible, but the race director guy looked up my race age and said I was fine. I thought that was pretty awesome. Also got free pizza. Both those things were pretty bad. The pizza was pretty much just cheese, bad for Josh. The beer wasn't awful, but not great. Anyway, I could write forever. So to sum up, felt good, ran with Josh, qualified for Boston.
