Shamrock Shuffle 10k - 12th overall, 6th 30-39 age group. Cold morning - temperature at start finish 18/21 degrees. I did not feel particularly great from the beginning. The first mile included the big hill up Observatory drive (as did the 6th miles). At the 5k mark concentrated on holding it together and finishing without blowing up. I was passed by about 6 people from the 4k mark to the finish. Overall I am pleased with the performance considering the running and swimming done in the prior week and with track season resulting in lots of plodding miles with the team.
