Notes
Inspired by Sweet Caroline, my hometown race was near perfect. Splits were unreal (for me) and a PR was a result. I knew I felt AWESOME before the race but didn't expect this until I approached the end, at which time I became a little disappointed I did not break into the 1:27's (lol). I love this route and my hometown! Here are the results:
Bib Number: 799A
Overall Time: 1:28:05 (PR)
Overall Pace: 6:43/mi
Gender place: 96 of 4,620
Division Place: 18 of 630
Overall Place: 107 of 11,581
This was my last race in the 30-34 age division, which has treated me well with PR's, great races, beautiful places and a continued passion for running while being inspired by a loving circle, strong and resilient people and hope for humanity. Running brings me so much joy, betters me as a person and inspires me to spread that influence on others, and that is what I try to do everyday. On to the next stage as a running enthusiast, into the 35-39 age division. Running is, as is life, a series of chapters where you experience great change, highs and lows, and it is what you make of it. In running and in life, I try to make the most of each opportunity, putting forth a solid effort, staying positive and doing my best. Hopefully I can inspire a few to do the same. On to the next chapter. FIT4LIFE
