Notes
The way I was feeling, just wanted to get thru this race, with no consideration for time or pace, and go home and sleep. Temps were back to frigid, I was ill, it was windy, and I was not feeling this one. I give credit to my buddy Thomas for pulling me thru. I walked thru fluid station to ensure I kept the fluid levels up in my body and I even walked up two hills. Did not even phase my confidence. I just wanted to finish. So I finished what seemed to be the longest 13.1 mile race of my life (turns out it was the 2nd slowest, from 2009).
Finish time: 1:41:13
Overall pace: 7:44/mi
Overall place: 211
Division place: 35 of 114
Gender place: 182 of 472
Glad to have this one in the rear view. I will be taking 5 days off to heal up. Next race is my hometown KDF Mini marathon (my 7th in 7 years). FIT4LIFE
