Went on my somewhat hilly route today. The guys at Marathon Talk have an Advent Challenge. Each day of Advent they'll provide a 5-30 minute running (or running related) activity. Today it was to make the final 5 minutes of the run the fastest five minutes. Done - a 4:39 min/km (7:30 min/mile) pace for the last five minutes. Off to Faith Ann's office Christmas party tonight ... which may not be the best preparation for the long run tomorrow!
