1.5 mile warm up at quite a slow pace, then 10k at a "comfortably hard" pace, then a cool down. I planned to not look at my watch during the harder bit, and see how close I came to marathon pace. As it turned out, it averaged about 8:07 per mile. That's little slower than marathon pace, but considering the snow/slush covered roads and the winter clothing, I was ok with that! Now to try to fit a run in between a couple of snowstorms tomorrow.
