Notes

So Faith Ann has been on a detox diet this week, and since I'm beholden to eating her food (and happy to do it!) I've been doing it too, for the most part. The only difference is that I'm eating a few more fruits than she is. It's supposed to be a sugar/carb/dairy/gluten/bread/basically everything I love/red meat/ free week. It may be completely in my head, but my runs have felt very difficult this week, and I "credit" her meals this week for that. On the other hand, I have lost 4 pounds since Monday. I'm not sticking with it tomorrow and will be eating some pasta and bread, since I don't want to completely crash for my last longish run before the marathon. Next week moves the diet evolves into stuff that's not quite so strict, thankfully.
