I headed out after working in Oconomowoc and ran the Nashotah House loop, did a short out-and back into Delafield, then ran the loop again without the add-on through the seminary. The workout was 9 miles easy, then 7 miles of a progression run (6:10-6:00-5:50-5:50-5:45-5:40-5:30-35). My splits were pretty much right on, but I thought that I only ran one 5:50 mile, then went right to 5:45s for two miles. That may have fatigued me a little bit more than I really needed, but all in all, this workout went well. I added on a little bit after the progression run to get in 18 and to get in a little bit of a cooldown.

I had a terrible side stitch toward the end of the progression and I had to dig pretty deep to hammer away at the last two miles in particular. The route is decently hilly, so that was good to get used to for the sake of getting a little tougher while running faster.
