Notes

I knew that today might be a rather tall order off of a double yesterday and with the humid weather today, but I headed out and I was actually feeling pretty good for the majority of the run. I had a progression run that I was planning on doing starting at 1:30 and continuing on until I got back on the route. I figured that I would probably be somewhere between 17 and 18 miles on the day. I went 68th-Howard-Hwy. 100-Root River-Greenfield Park-116th-Greenfield-Greenfield Park-Root River-116th-Howard-Beloit-Root River-Forest Home-Root River-84th-Grange-Root River-84th-Edgerton-72nd-Armour-68th.

I died hardcore going up the hill from Root River to Edgerton on 84th. It was ugly after that and I was just trying to sustain the pace and somehow managed to actually speed up a little bit. I think it was the humidity monster that got me this time since I was fine before that hill. I probably could have gotten in another half mile, but I was already redlining, so I thought that it would be a good time to cut it. Still got in a good workout today, though. No nutrition on the run is teaching me to be stingy.
