I am pretty happy with the effort today. I headed out with the following workout: 30 minutes easy followed by 10:00 at marathon pace, 2:00 easy, 5:00 tempo, 2:00 easy, 10:00 marathon pace. I settled in pretty well and hit the paces pretty well (5:46 on the mile split I got on the first segment, roughly 5:26 pace on the tempo segment, then 5:44 on the measured mile on the second marathon pace segment. It was nice to have that not feel all that hard, but more like a comfortably hard effort. Even the running at the end did not feel hard after the faster stuff. Feeling fit!
