Notes
Today's workout was 25-30 minutes of downtempo mixed in after a good warmup and then a healthy cooldown after that. I felt surprisingly good from the beginning of the run and despite the rain early, I was feeling good and optimistic about the looming workout. Once I began to get settled into my rhythm, the downtempo did not seem bad at all. It did feel like I would be going beyond marathon effort if I were to go much faster, though. I ran Jackson Park-long McCarty loop (all the way out to Lincoln)-McCarty-Honeycreek-76th-Honeycreek-Wedgewood-Howard-76th-Layton-74th-Dan Jansen-Southridge-72nd-Holmes-70th(?)-Layton-68th. This workout was better than the last one since I felt well within myself today.
