Why do I run: Just because I love it. |
Why I started running: 12 years ago I was 250+ lbs and very out of shape at 54yo. My doc said I had to do something so I changed my lifestyle. Started to eat healthy foods, stopped most junk including soda, alcohol, bad snacks, etc. And I started walking. I lost 50lbs during that first year of walking. One day a little 5k race was being held in town so I entered it. I was hooked and from that point in 2010 until now I have become a running addict. Now I run 40-60 miles a week and run races. |
