Took it out nice and easy, just let the WPI kid lead. I was going to pass once we hit the 800 but I decided to wait one more lap; probably should have just gone at the 800, I would have been fine. Changed gears once I passed and was feeling pretty good. Brian was right on me and passed me at the end of this lap (or somewhere around there). I stuck with him and coming into the front straight before the bell lap I passed him back. But Brian wasn't having any of that and passed me right back on the curve. Ended up about a second behind him. I was pretty happy for Brian for having a good race and I also felt pretty good about my own race.
