Notes

First mile went out pretty fast. I was a couple strides back from the lead pack and it was tough to stay up there but not terrible. 4:50 though, that was pretty fast. 2nd mile, way hillier than I thought it'd be. Also once I started that 2nd mile I just felt all the lactic acid, legs, arms, everything. So 2nd mile was slower. Then there was one more hill after the 2nd mile that lasted for a bit and between that and how heavy I was feeling that last mile I really slowed. It was a struggle to the end.

I think I am just not very good at hills right now, Japan probably didn't help my training, and my speed is god awful. I am gonna try a hill workout on Wednesday I think, and after my marathon I'm gonna figure out a plan to get my speed up. I think I'm gonna lift more in the winter too. I've only been doing body weight stuff here and there right now.
