Fun unstructured fartlek on the normal Chelmsford M pace loop. Worked out great as the rain died down to near nothing early on. I was worried this was going to be a very uncomfortable run but it was absolutely fine.
Ended up with some decent splits too just between all the surges. Had I think 10-12 fartlek splits, ranging from shorter and faster to longer and more interval-paced. Felt good the whole time. A lot better than Monday. In fact, my average for the 6 in-between miles where I did the fartlek splits was 6:36, only 10 seconds slower than Monday. So Monday definitely just a fluke. In any case, feeling good and having a good week.
