RPI RUNsselaer Cup! SPAC XC 5k course. Watch got 2.91 but I'll go by the historic "3.05" measurement. I was hoping for a sub-17 so this was a little disappointing, but with the sore quads this really wasn't too terrible of a time. Felt tough most of the race. Never felt like I was able to pick it up by a significant amount. Think I have to get past the base-building step and into workouts for these races to start to go smoother. As evidenced by my quad soreness that was present in the race, I think I still have more work to do before my legs get more used to this volume of mileage.
