Notes

Went out in the morning to avoid the heavy rain from later today. Nice temperature and little to no rain. Felt good for the first few miles and thought I was on track for the 10 miler I had planned. But late into the 3rd mile that peroneus thing on my right leg started getting worse and I decided it wasn't worth it to keep going. I turned around and took the quickest way home.

It felt alright through 4 but started to get worse after that. By the time I hit 6 it was pretty uncomfortable. I decided to stop and walk a little after that. Luckily it didn't hurt walking back, but it hurt to get my shoes off. As in, if I moved it or applied stress to it in the wrong way, pain would shoot through it.

I'm guessing it is calf related, as I have a pretty bad trigger point deep in the outside of my right calf. I think all my lower leg muscles are giving me a hard time right now. At least my plantar isn't that bad - felt it a little bit when I started running but then went away. I still think the calf stretching is mostly working. But it is very frustrating that this peroneus pain could be another potentially significant setback. I am going to take tomorrow and Saturday off, and hopefully I will be able to do the workout Sunday. Any more problems and I will take probably closer to a week off. Either way I will be stretching and rolling a lot.
