Nice hike with Jake and Josh. The new altras were fantastic - super comfy and very roomy toebox. Waterproof too. Those plus crampons made hiking a breeze. It was all packed snow, no ice really to speak of. But the crampons definitely helped give great traction and were not a burden.
Not really a view at the top sadly with all the clouds, but we did find a great view just a little ways down the trail. Otherwise great day for it. A little cold to start but once we got going it was comfortable the rest of the way.
