Final mile of the Murph. Wanted to see how fast I could go. Within several strides my entire body felt like jello. Great start. Got to the downhill and that jello started turning into cement, which was quickly hardening. But I was still going relatively fast and was able to use the downhill. Made the two turns onto the uphill and pushed real hard. I actually felt like I was going quite fast. I was motoring up the hill. Kept the pedal to the metal, got to the sign and had a good last sprint. I'll take a 5:40 mile after that crazy workout.
