I felt it was time to go up to 5 miles! At the start of the run, it only started out at a 2/10, which is the best it's been besides Wednesday, which was 10min pace with no eccentrics beforehand. Today I did unweighted eccentrics, after my experience yesterday. I think it paid off. Pain stayed at 1.5/10 for a while, but the last couple miles it went down to 1/10.

Today was a little bit faster than normal too, just what I naturally fell into, and it felt good for the achilles/calf I think. Perhaps in the same way strides have been feeling good for it. Range of motion.

I think I'll stick with 5 miles for a few days, and if it stays the same or improves, I'll go up to 6 and stay there for awhile. After some time at 6 I'll try a long-ish run, 8-10. But I will also maintain my one day off per week. I'm gonna make that tomorrow this week, since it's supposed to rain Sunday morning and so I'll do a long bike ride tomorrow instead.
