initially planned on going for a 3200 with splits of 5:15 then 5:00, but then decided to just shoot for 5:15 then run at least 5:15 for the second split. ran with distler. i ended up only doing 7 of the 8 laps cuz i felt like i was trying to hard for what the workout was. john stopped after 4 laps and jumped back in on lap 7. Looking back on it, i felt good enough to have run the additional lap to complete the 3200, and i probly could have brought it home in a 70 or faster to round out a sub 10:30. However, i was just very doubting of myself for no reason at all, kinda stupid. But we did end up addint on a lap after a 2 minute rest, and we cranked out a 62, so i guess that sorta makes up for it. But i need to focus much more on tolerating pain, because as far as that goes, yesterdays workout is like a quarter of the level of pain i should be able to tolerate. (granted it was a tempo). idk why i wrote so much for a dumb little workout.
