this race experience reminded me exactly why i hadnt run a 5k since ~2003, (up until 3 weeks ago - that one went ok for some reason). didnt help that I'm getting over a nasty virus. pretty hilly course, last 1/2 mile on winding, narrow trail through the woods. nice scenery - most of the course was on a dirt rd along a river with mountain views.
