running on the marathon course, on a very windy afternoon when my legs felt tired all day. goal was 1 easy and 5 @ 649 pace.
sounds like a bad idea but it worked out great. head/side wind was strong but i was able to beat the goal pace consistently. i felt like i was going relatively hard but was pleasantly surpised by my splits, especially the first easy mile, i didnt look at the garmin until i was close to a mile in and thought i would be over 8 min for that mile
